Based on the popular SATB version (displayed below), this medium tempo gospel-style piece invites the singers and audience to contemplate the unique “song” that they have within their souls. What will we do with the short time we’ve been given on this earth? Will we bravely share our “song” with the world?

Special consideration should be given to steadiness of groove and tempo, being careful not to rush or go too fast. A rhythm section part is available, providing opportunities for the piano to be joined by bass, drums, and possibly other rhythm instruments as well, such as guitar and B3 organ.
